Pretty hard to describe Laid8 style with conventional terms, it's starting somewhere in the metal area with touches of progressive and continues to the grunge direction with jazz influences and all that off-course is sung with female, clean and highly melodic vocals that's so unusual in the metal or the grunge scene.
The band (under a different name then) started its way somewhere in 2006 and after several lineup changes finally settled with:
Tal – A prog-influenced singer who started her way in a high-school cover band and thought to become a jazz vocalist, but instead found herself deep in the metal world.
Dave - Academically educated guitarist that's in charge of the guitar department in the city conservatorium of Ashkelon.
Uri - Like most bassists he's the quite one in the bunch, with influences that range from Mr.Bungle to Strapping Young Lad he brings very unusual twist to the sound.
Oded – With grunge roots and death-metal teacher (Nir Nakav from Salem) he brings his take on the genres clichйs.
