История группы (на английском):

BlaCKouT is a local band from Rishon LeZion (Israel),which was created in May 1996 by Vega & AZ.
Two weeks later they invited Danny Perry,AZ's school friend, to join the band as a drummer. Afterwards, the band included Face as a vocalist. A few month later the band gave its first gig in rock club "Tranzit".
Two weeks before the show, all the guitars and some other stuff were stolen from their rehearsal room. However, that unfortuned incident hasn't stoped them from playing- new guitars and effects were bought or borrowed from good friends.
January 1997.
Alex Kolomansky, the band's new guitarist, added high proffesional level to the band's music.
At the same time, another member joined the band - Alex Bikov. He was the first manager of Blackout.
The band performed several times at club "CROCK" and other rock sessions.
In January 1997 Danny Parry disided to live the band, due to personal problems.
His place on the drums was taken by Artur Vaisman, and therefore the band could continue performing on the stages of Tel Aviv and Rishon le Zion.

August 1997 become to Blackout a turning point. Alex Kolomansky leaving the band, and his place takes not another guitarist, but keyboard man Dorban (Kiril Fondler). This change had very strong effect on the band and musical style, but at the second side the problem of lead guitarist missing requiered quick solutions.
The solution was very creative: Vega moves to play on bass, A.Z.-lead guitars.
This change gave excellent results- the second album called "Welcome to Blackout" was recorded in short time.

19 february 1998 BlaCKouT gave their last performance.
The Band decided to take a unlimited break to complete with everyone's own projects.
It took about two years. During that time Vega & Dorban, were involved in Rattle Snake (another local metal band) recordings.
AZ took a part in Prime Time (friendly band from Petah Tikva) playing on bass.
In august 99 band decides to join back but with no keyboard player, 'cos Dorban moved to Canada.
The band began to prepare new project in hebrew language that called "U-turn".
